How to choose 180W battery charger? It normally used on Electric vehicle or bicycle.Let us show you.
1、 First, determine the battery voltage of your electric vehicle.
If the battery voltage of your electric vehicle is 48V, the output voltage of the corresponding charger is generally about 59V; If it is a 60V battery, the output voltage of the corresponding charger is generally 73.5v. When selecting a charger, the input voltage must be 220 V, but the output voltage of the charger must be matched according to your battery, which must be accurately grasped.
2、 The charger output current is determined according to the battery capacity ah of the electric vehicle battery.
If the battery is 12Ah, the output current of the charger is generally 1.8A. If it is a 20Ah battery, the charger with an output current of 26 to 30ah is generally selected. If it is a 30ah, 35ah, 60ah, 100Ah... Battery, the output current of the charger selected should be slightly greater than your battery capacity.
3、 Determine the positive and negative shape of the charger interface suitable for your electric vehicle.
There are four kinds of common interfaces in the market. T-type product prefix, three vertical product prefix, medium horizontal product prefix and round head must match your electric vehicle.
4、 Be sure to use smart charger.
Non intelligent chargers are usually charged with a high current. After more than ten hours, the battery starts to heat up. After more than twenty hours, the battery may be bulging and scrapped. The smart charger starts with high current charging. When it is full, it starts to automatically change to trickle charging, just like we cook porridge with fire. At the beginning, in order to make the water boil with fire as soon as possible, it changes to small fire to boil slowly. The intelligent charger can effectively ensure that the battery is in a safe state after being fully charged.
