Description

9V smps power supply with UL1310 covers the safety instructions for class 2 power supplies and battery chargers for indoor and outdoor environments. These power supplies and battery chargers have AC branch circuits with a maximum ground potential of 150V.

UL 1310 class 2 power supply unit standard is applicable to power supply within limited output current and output voltage range.

Class 2 standards are specified in UL standard number UL1310. In order to obtain UL Level 2 certification, the output current of the power supply shall not exceed 8 A and the output voltage shall not exceed 30 VDC.

One advantage of using a UL 1310 class 2 approved power supply is that the output has the same class 2 safety level. When applying for system level safety certification for equipment, in some cases, when the equipment (load) is connected to the power output of class 2, it is not necessary to obtain the safety standard certification approval of the connected equipment (load).
