When the power module is operating, we notice that its output voltage is relatively low. If we are not satisfied with the energy required by the product, it will affect the application of the product. What is the reason for the low output voltage of the power module?
Anti reverse diode
DC of some products are not on one board, so there is the situation of plugging in and out the power connector. In order to prevent the destruction of hardware configuration caused by reverse connection in this process, a diode is often connected in series.
Large wiring impedance
There is an "intermediate link" between the module power output and the load, that is, the longer and narrower the routing line of each PCB wiring, the greater its equivalent resistance. The meaning of equivalent resistance is that in the operation control circuit connected in series with the load, it can have the effect of voltage dividing circuit. Therefore, the operating voltage at both ends of the load is lower than the output operating voltage of the control module. In addition, loose spot welding, road air oxidation or etching are very easy to form an increase in equivalent resistance.
Input operating voltage low
The situation that the input operating voltage is slightly low is generally easy to be ignored by us. When the output is not very good, professional technicians will find out the cause of the problem in a very short time. The power supply module with average or high voltage input is OK. When the input power supply is relatively low, its output power supply will also be relatively low. Perhaps, this situation has a bottom limit. For a special module, when the input operating voltage is too low, it will not operate, so there is no output voltage.
