KC certification is the EU product safety certification regulations. Products can only be sold in the Korean market if they meet the requirements of the relevant KC directives.
The cost of KC certification mainly depends on the product to be certified, the certification body selected and the relevant instructions of the product, and it is also related to different test items. Different product test items are also very different. Generally, common products are electronic and electrical products, and common test items are classified EMI directive.
Take the AC input power adapter as an example to illustrate the EMI test items:
Adopt EMI standard
Radiation space radiation + Conduct conduction
EKS test items):
Current harmonics
Voltage fluctuation and flicker
Electrostatic discharge test
Radiation immunity
Fast burst
Lightning strike
Conducted immunity
Power frequency magnetic field
Voltage transient immunity
Current harmonics (power adapter output power greater than 75W needs to be tested, less than or equal to 75W no applicable limit value, no test).
