EMC is divided into two categories:
EMI: all kinds of interference through the power line, commonly known as superconducting test;

Why "electromagnetism"
Why is EMC EMC? Not "electric" or "magnetic"? Electricity and magnetism in physics tell us that electricity and magnetism can be converted under certain conditions( Magnetic generator is called electromagnetic compatibility!
Why "compatible"
Since we understand why EMC is called "electromagnetic compatibility", it is not too difficult to understand the word "compatibility"! Generally speaking, the earth is a big magnetic field, and every electronic equipment will be affected by it; At a small scale, every electronic device is a "magnet". When they exist in a relatively small place at the same time, they can not affect each other and cause abnormal function!
So "compatibility" means more than just "electricity" or "magnetism", a single energy. When solving the EMC problem, we will also use a lot of "magnetic" methods, such as "shielding", which is to convert the electric energy into the path radiated by the magnetic field for "containment". At the same time, it is also to "intercept" the external magnetic energy outside the shielding body! Therefore, when solving the EMC problem, we may not only solve the problem of "electricity" but also "magnetism"!
